Doug brings more than three decades of experience in the jewelry industry, with a career that spans retail, custom design, manufacturing technology, and advanced CAD software. He began in retail sales and went on to manage a successful custom design store, giving him firsthand insight into the day to day realities of serving clients and building a profitable jewelry business.

Doug later moved into jewelry design software sales, where he served for many years as Director of Sales for Gemvision Corp, a Stuller company. In 2019, after a long tenure with Stuller and Gemvision, he stepped away briefly before returning to the industry in the 3D printing space with EnvisionTec, now part of Desktop Metal.

Doug served most recently as Director of North American Sales for 3Design CAD Software, a Gravotech by Brady Corporation business unit. In this role, he worked closely with jewelers, designers, and manufacturers to help them integrate advanced CAD tools into real world production environments.

While jewelry has been the constant thread throughout his career, Doug is also well versed in broader business and management disciplines. His perspective bridges the bench, the showroom, and the technology that connects them, making him a practical and experienced voice on how digital tools can strengthen both craftsmanship and profitability.
