Kids Jewelry Camp 2.0 | August 23-24, 2025

THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT FOR AJS ROCK STARS!

The Atlanta Jewelry Show has always been a trusted resource for independent retail jewelers and vendors. We have taken this partnership to the next level by opening our doors to the next generation of jewelers. The first one of its kind in our industry, our priority is to welcome children into the jewelry community by encouraging and inspiring them to continue the legacy that most of you have devoted a lifetime to creating.

Kids Jewelry Camp is two days full of hands-on activities and exciting projects for kids ages 7 and up to all attendees children, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.  Campers can attend on a one or two-day pass.

• Next GEM [Generation Emerging Makers] (Ages 12-17) Advanced techniques with real tools, mentorship, and pre-professional training - including a business track where teens launch their own brand.

About the Program
AJS Kids Jewelry Camp and Next GEM Academy [Generation Emerging Makers] are original concepts developed by the Atlanta Jewelry Show to inspire and educate the next generation of creators, entrepreneurs, and jewelry professionals.

Credit & Recognition
The AJS Kids Jewelry Camp program was conceived and launched in 2018 by Libby Brown, Executive Director of the Atlanta Jewelry Show, as the first youth-focused jewelry program of its kind in the industry. The program’s curriculum and on-site instruction have been expertly led by Mindy Spritz, Camp Director, whose creativity and dedication have shaped each camp experience since its inception.

In 2025, Libby Brown expanded the program with the launch of Next GEM Academy to meet the needs of returning campers ready for advanced skills, real-world business knowledge, and mentorship opportunities. Together, these programs represent the Atlanta Jewelry Show’s ongoing commitment to fostering entrepreneurship, craftsmanship, and community among young makers.
